who's she?

Hi! You're entering Resta's space, a fragment of my world, a playful ground for my thoughts.

The Origin Story (of This Space)

One rainy typhoon day, secluded at home, I randomly stumbled upon a post about how to buy your own domain. "Wait a minute," I thought. "I should have my own. I am marking my territory on the world wide web" after grumbling hours of researching how make a website from scratch, I found my old blog. I felt a nostalgic rush, and well, here we are! Good old blogger, but completely my own now. Rediscovering it healed something in me.

This space is my playground to rediscover my spark, create without limits, my safe haven to scream out loud without fear of judgment.

The Origin Story (of Resta)

It was almost midnight, and another Gemini was born. Her parents would describe her as a witty, curious, outspoken, headstrong child who always has books or manga under her nose, if not sitting in front of the computer playing The Sims 1 for hours. She liked drawing and coloring (even won competitions for it!), riding bicycles with her friends, and munching on chocolate. Her week looked like this: school on weekdays, afterschool classes after, and going to malls with her family on weekends. She would (start a) fight with her sister (who she actually loves very much, she just expressed it through physical attack), got scolded by her parents, and repeat every week.

Time flew by, she was no longer a kid but a teen navigating growing up. Somehow, she's still the same (The Sims is still a big part of her life), but now with more things to do and think of (school, friendship, which manga to buy for the 3rd time this week). She found solace in writing and reading. Even though it was on and off, she always came back eventually.

And that's why she's here.
